Federal immigration laws must be enforced by federal personnel. I would support a state law making it a felony to enter Nevada if you have not entered the US lawfully, at a port of entry. That would make the alien deportable under federal law. Private prisons are subject to graft and corruption because paying prisons to house prisoners creates an opportunity for improper payments and sentencing. Non-violent drug offenders should be immediately released and remanded to rehabilitation facilities. | |||

| Economic Diversity in Nevada is a priority. We cannot continue to rely upon tourism. I would support funding our engineering schools to develop small modular nuclear reactors and small modular oil refineries that can process American shale oil that is currently being exported in bulk. I would support funding our agriculture schools to develop the farming of hemp in Nevada and to develop manufacturing of hemp based products. Increasing the minimum wage will result in job loss. If I have a business and can afford to pay four employees and can only now employ two, I will be forced to close my business. We must wrestle the 81% of the federal lands back and put them under state jurisdiction and gain Nevada #FullStatehood. This will allow private development. Affordable housing is also a function of the 500k #IllegalAliens now living in Nevada. When there are only an estimated 13k housing units available. Do the math. Illegal Aliens must be deported. If a major league baseball stadium were economically viable, it would not need public funding. | |||

| I support the elimination of the federal Department of Education. I support breaking up the CCSD into more local and responsive districts. Education is local. Parents should be allowed to send their children to the school of their choice using ESAs and Opportunity Scholarships. If public school teachers can show they are worth the money, they should get a raise, but that would be up to the parents who pay for their children to attend that teacher's school. Public school teacher benefits should be transitioned from defined benefit to defined contribution. Otherwise, Nevada faces eventual exploding budgets. There is a difference between a lawful immigrant and an illegal alien. Illegal aliens should receive no state benefit payments whatsoever. Lawful immigrants can apply for citizenship, and once that is achieved, they will be eligible for in-state tuition. We should not be amending the Constitution to weaken the Board of Regents. Doing so would place the Regents under the whim and caprice of a legislature that can change hands every two years. We need continuity in Nevada higher education. | |||

| The increase in state funding should be limited to investing in Nevada higher education institutions. I oppose vast solar farms that destroy Nevada's sensitive ecology. Flora and fauna cannot live underneath solar farms. I oppose solar farms and wind farms to the extent that there is no means to recycle the components and they create toxic waste that cannot be relegated to landfills. Grants to Nevada engineering schools can be used to develop small modular nuclear reactors and small modular shale oil refineries. This will not only create opportunities for renewable energy, as small modular nuclear reactors are non-polluting, and small modular shale oil refineries that use American shale oil (the bulk of which is exported) to make America energy independent. There are no state "public lands" in Nevada. It is all federal. The state legislature must work with Congress to transfer unappropriated federal lands into state hands, leading to Nevada #FullStatehood. Then and only then can we discuss drilling and mining permits on state land. Frankly, I would homestead Nevada's federal lands: 40 acres for farming, 400 acres for ranching, 40 acres for mining. State funding for clean water initiatives would be limited to supporting Nevada engineering schools in designing and deploying water desalination plants in California. Every drop of water that can be created from the Pacific Ocean is a drop of water that can be used in Nevada. | |||

Freedom of Association may allow for people to band together to support a candidate, but this should not allow contributions to break limits. A person should not be able to donate individually to a campaign and also to a campaign committee. When you say "bipartisan" commission for redistricting, you forget that I am an independent candidate. Redistricting should be non-partisan. If it were up to me, I would divide a district as close to county boundaries as possible. When you have multi-district counties, concerns should be relegated to areas that are mainly contiguous, to the interests of maintaining communities. Voter ID is necessary to insure election integrity and confidence in elections. Those who cannot afford ID can get Voter ID at state expense. Those who have no legal residence can register through a shelter. Ballots cannot be mailed without a request by the voter. The request must be somehow verified to the Voter ID. Mail ballots must returned before election day. Automatic voter registration is an opportunity for fraud. Proof of citizenship must be required. Registering a non-citizen or knowingly assisting a non-citizen to register should be a felony. Ranked Choice Voting is a Trojan Horse to convert Nevada to a California one party state. Organizations funding RCV are large out of state "progressive" organizations. RCV will result in hundreds of thousands of ballots being eliminated, resulting in hundreds of thousands of lost votes, resulting in a loss of voter rights. | |||

Gun control only causes law abiding people to lose the right to own a firearm. Criminals don't care about firearm laws. I support Constitutional Carry in Nevada. | |||

| Treatment facilities should be privately funded. Single payer healthcare eliminates private insurance. Eliminating competition does not reduce the price of insurance. A person should be able to end his own life after petitioning a Court to evaluate the decision. How did mandating the COVID "vax" turn out? Badly. It did not stop either transmission or infection. It was ineffective before two weeks or after two months. It resulted in thousands of adverse effects, including compromising immune systems. Natural immunity was a far better prophylactic. The only people who died were from comorbidities. People should be free to negotiate paid family leave or medical leave benefits. It should not be imposed by government. Regulating prices leads to shortages and should be avoided. That's not to say that insurance carriers should not be able to negotiate for lower drug prices. Also, allowing drugs to be purchased across national borders would eliminate perceived price "gouging". | |||

Inclusion of "gender identity" in Nevada's anti-discrimination laws would have the same result. There are no gender, racial, and other wage gaps in an environment where merit is rewarded. People of faith who have religious objections to sexual orientation or gender identity should be supported. | |||

End automatic registrations at the DMV. Require proof of citizenship for registration. People who cannot afford ID can get it free of charge. People who are homeless can register at approved shelters. Mail ballots can only be sent upon request with proper authentication. Mail ballots must be received for counting before Election Day. Nevada Full Statehood: 81% of Nevada's land area is held by the federal government. Unappropriated federal lands must be returned to state control. This requires cooperation between the Nevada Legislature and Congress. Homestead the restored lands: 40 acres for farming, 400 acres for ranching, 40 acres for mining. |
